Terms and Conditions for ELD-AAC App

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the ELD-AAC app, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the app.

2. User Eligibility

The ELD-AAC app is intended for use by educational institutions, teachers, caregivers, and students, primarily children with autism, for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Users must be of legal age or have the necessary consent to use the app.

3. Privacy Policy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review this policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

4. User Accounts

a. Registration: To access certain features of the app, you may be required to register and create a user account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

b. Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. App Usage

a. Analytics: The app may collect usage data to improve its functionality and educational effectiveness. This data includes but is not limited to errors made by students during tasks and the frequency of student engagement with app activities. All data is stored locally on the device.

b. Compliance: You agree to use the app in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

6. Intellectual Property

a. Ownership: The ELD-AAC app and its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, and software, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

b. License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended educational purposes.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app, with or without cause and with or without notice, at our discretion.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United States.
